Meet the Adorable Smile Contest Winners!

The winner of Alameda and Pleasanton Pediatric Dentistry’s First Annual Smile Contest is:

Congrats to Bryant, who won a $100 gift certificate to Tomatina. Mom Annie says 17-month-old Bryant has the most contagious smile in the family. Anything silly makes him smile — so much so that he even loves to laugh at his own laugh! Bryant enjoys people-watching. On a recent trip to Disney World, he was content seeing all the sights from his stroller. “We are blessed to have this little guy in our lives,” Annie says of her son. And we can see why!

Also smiling are our 2nd and 3rd place winners, 5-year-old Ava Joy Zuber and 14-month-old Claire Abbey Pry. Here’s a little more info about these happy winners.

Our 2nd place winner, Ava Joy Zuber, hopes her smile will make someone else smile, too. That’s one reason why she’s such a ham in front of the camera. Everyone who knows her, including her big brother Austin, agrees Ava’s laughter is simply contagious.

Ava recently celebrated her 5th birthday with a trip to Disneyland. You can bet she was all smiles! According to mommy, Ava prides herself on “being a helper” and loves to help mommy cook. Fettuccine Alfredo, or “white sauce,” as she calls it, as well as raw carrots and fruit smoothies frozen into popsicles, are Ava’s fave foods. Now that she’s won a photo prize ($50 to spend at Tomatina), her next goal is to learn hula. Go Ava!

Our 3rd place winner, Claire Abbey Pry, smiles most when her older brother chases her around, when she is on the swing, or when her daddy bops his head up and down for her. Claire’s proud mommy describes her daughter’s smile as “pure and sweet,” and we certainly agree!

Claire is named after a beautiful abbey in County Clare, Ireland, found next to the cathedral where her parents were married. The outfit she is wearing in the winning shot was purchased in the international section of a store that sells lost luggage. Claire loves strawberries, cheese, playing at Washington Park, going on bike rides with her iBert, and dancing. We hope she will enjoy her prize, a $25 gift certificate to Tomatina. Three cheers for Claire!
